Concrete repair near me — Pasadena, CA

Painting outdoor concrete in Pasadena requires careful preparation to ensure adhesion and longevity. First, the concrete surface must be thoroughly cleaned, often through pressure washing to remove dirt, oil, and any existing coatings. A concrete etching solution may be applied to create a porous surface profile, facilitating paint bonding. Next, a high-quality concrete primer specifically designed for exterior use should be applied. Finally, a durable concrete floor paint or stain, suitable for exterior applications and the local climate, is applied in thin, even coats. Installing patio pavers in Pasadena by contractors involves several critical steps for a long-lasting and stable patio. This begins with excavating the area to the required depth, followed by the installation and compaction of a gravel base and a layer of sand. The pavers are then carefully laid according to the chosen pattern, with precise cuts made as needed. Finally, polymeric sand is swept into the joints and activated with water, which hardens to lock the pavers in place, preventing weed growth and shifting. The crew that comes out will ensure proper edge restraints are installed.
