Concrete slab contractors — Elk Grove, CA

For cement patio pavers in Elk Grove, the concrete itself forms the base layer. A standard 3000-4000 PSI concrete mix is typically used for the foundation. This mix provides sufficient strength and durability to support the pavers and foot traffic. It's crucial that this base is laid on a well-compacted sub-base for stability. Proper grading is also essential for drainage. Call for an estimate.

Pressed concrete, often called stamped concrete, for patios in Elk Grove can be beautiful but has some downsides. Over time, the stamped patterns can trap dirt, making cleaning more difficult. If not sealed properly, the surface can be susceptible to staining and wear from UV exposure. Cracks can be more noticeable on stamped surfaces compared to plain concrete. Repairing specific stamped sections can also be challenging to match. We can help you understand these considerations. Call for advice.
